Hometown: Craven Arms, Shropshire

Top destination: I have been lucky enough to ride in some amazing places around the world, but I think my favourite place will always be at home with my friends that I have grown up riding and building trails with.

World Cup winner (2007 Vigo Spain and 2010 Val di Sole Italy), renowned downhill MTB racer Marc Beaumont is not a guy to take things easy. After a short sabbatical in 2015, Marc couldn’t resist getting back in the saddle, signing for the Madison Saracen Factory Race Team last year.

Determined to build on his past success, Marc secured a win in the British Downhill Series straight off the blocks in 2016, going on to finish 3rd overall, showing he’s as hungry as ever to fulfill his potential on the circuit. Looking ahead, he will be targeting World Cup success with the team throughout this season.

Away from competing, Marc still takes time to ride his home trails and has amassed a huge following as a presenter, sharing his biking knowledge with thousands of fans. Marc is one of the great ambassadors for British mountain biking and we’re super excited to have him onboard as an advocate for Animal.
