Layered outfit ideas from our menswear designer Chris Trimby

Wrap up good this winter

Whilst we’re already rejoicing to the fact the days are getting longer again, we can’t help but admit it ain’t getting any warmer anytime soon. As winter drifts on, our passion for adventure continues and so layering up is our only option.

With that in mind, we thought we’d ask one of our super talented menswear designers, Chris Trimby, for a couple of outfit options that will see you through the colder months in style.

Layering up for winter

From local trails to city streets

A simple and understated option that’ll have you looking sleek whether you’re hitting the local trails or exploring the streets of the big smoke.

For this one, Chris picked the Town Shirt in tawny purple as a starting point; this shirt is a modern take on a timeless classic that combines weather-worn check with a slim cut and button down collar. Top two buttons up, then worn open atop the baseball-inspired Rager Pocket Tee with raglan sleeves and textured marl stripe.

Pair the top layers with the Dexter Chinos in navy, which Chris recommends to wear with pin-rolled cuffs for that little extra steez.

On colder days, simply throw on the super versatile Morgan Shirt, the ultimate must-have when it comes to winter layering.

The outdoors is calling

Fancy heading further afield? Here’s an outfit option that’s all about functional and minimal styling: start with the Navigate Tee, throw on the Payne Crew, slide into your rolled up Dexter Olive Chinos, and complete the look with the Puffed Down Jacket.

Accessorise with winter-ready knitwear like the Fars Gloves and the Allex Beanie and you’ll be ready to go! Adventure awaits, go get it.
