30 years of Animal
Party time—we had a blast!
On Saturday 1st July we celebrated thirty epic years of Animal alongside the Animal family, legendary riders past and present, loyal fans, our competition winners, VIP guests and the press. Without a doubt, we had an absolute blast! Here’s a photo diary of our highlights from the big day (and night, and next morning...)
Early-doors beach yoga
We opted for a calming start to the festivities with some early morning yoga with Animal advocate Philly Lewis taking us through our flow and getting us energised for the day ahead.
Stokesy finds his Zen
OK Magazine's Rosie Underwood takes flight
Zip wire action
Keen to get a bird’s-eye view of our lovely south coast home some of our guests took to the skies on the pier zip wire.
Amy Liddle of Salt and Chic flies by.
Of course Stokesy couldn’t resist a trip.
The Animal pop-up shop was right at home down on the sands.
HIIT on the beach
As the sun came out we went full on 80s crazy in a fast and furious HIIT session with Kim Hartwell. Exhausting but brilliantly exhilarating!
Meanwhile, renowned artist Iain Macarthur was at work creating an epic mural. Seven hours of breathtaking skill and we were blown away by the result.
Paddle boarding mayhem
After the heat of the HIIT session we took to the water for some paddle boarding antics.
Sandra Marques from FS Mag nailed the best way to travel—powered by Stokesy!
As the sun went down, we left the beach for party central at Hot Rocks. Friends, family and Animal legends took it through to the wee small hours.
Legendary selfie! Competition winner Simon meets Blake Samson and Martyn Ashton.
MTB legends Martyn Ashton and Blake Samson catch up with artist Iain Macarthur on his latest mural.
Need we say more...
A massive thank you
To all those who have been on the journey with us through the years, and to the people who made our celebrations such a blast.
