Surf Bettys Festival 2015
We were super stoked when Corinne Evans invited us to be part of Surf Betty’s again this year. A small summer festival focused around getting women and girls in the water, as well as a few other girly activities thrown in to help raise money for Keep a Breast Foundation.
Despite the weather forecasting a mini monsoon for the day, Corinne was determined to make the day a success, and that it was. Girls could book onto surf lessons, limber up on the beach with a spot of yoga with Philly Lewis or enjoy a sports massage. For those looking for a bit more of a girly pamper you could retreat to the tent offering feather braids or manicures – there really was something for everyone.
We saw a constant flow of artistic beings into the Animal tent this year where you could customise your own tote bag or enter the design a surf board competition. We saw an array of awesome designs and met some super friendly faces.
If that wasn’t enough, Fistral Beach Bar welcomed the talented William the Conqueror aka Rurrari Joseph on stage for a chilled out evening of great music.
All proceeds from the day went to Keep a Breast Foundation and we would like to say a massive congrats to Corinne for putting on such a great event once again!
