WD-40 recently teamed up with The Bicycle Helmet Initiative Trust to promote a new campaign which raises awareness to the grommets out there about helmet safety. As part of the campaign a competition was launched, inviting the little nippers to get creative and design a Lazer bike helmet. The prize: To have their winning design manufactured across 250 helmets and distributed to disadvantaged children across the UK. Oh! And the bonus part: To have the Animal WD-40 Action Sports Tour perform for an exclusive show in the school playground!

Ben Capon's winning helmet design

Ben Capon's creative design was chosen from over 2,000 entrants and so on Tuesday 25th February saw the WD-40 Action Sports Tour arrive at his school in Taunton. The guys had an awesome day, with over 450 excited kids surrounding the barriers, an assembly to discuss the benefits of helmets and then an autograph session for all!
