There was no frosty reception for the Animal Bike Tour on 26th, 27th and 28th October at The Daily Telegraph Ski and Board Show with enough liquid hot action to thaw out the Pyrenees!
Martyn Ashton (fresh from his Road Bike Party), Blake Samson (a month too early with his charity moustache – Moctober?!) and Luke Madigan (Freewalker extraordinaire) were joined by special guest Soly Bloomfield on the Sunday to blow the roof off the NEC. 12 year old Soly is currently the hottest UK property in the world of freestyle scootering and with the Animal Bike Tour always on the hunt for new stars we knew we had to get him in!
With James ‘MC’ Thorne at the helm and the unruly crowds joining forces with him to bring out the gnarly best in the riders the shows went off. This mix of MTB trials and dirt jumping, freerunning and scootering is a heady cocktail that we will plan to bust out in events in 2013.
